stalling bronco
A good friend of mine owns a cherry '95 bronco equipped with a 302 V-8 and a 5-spd with 101,000 miles showing. He is having trouble with the truck stalling while shifting. He said it seems like an electrical problem, but I was able to pull two codes and they are 122 "tp voltage low" and 542 "fuel pump secondary" . His problem is intermittant and I have never expieranced it personally. can anyone help me out? I would really apprieciate it. Thank you

You say his problem is stalling while shifting......I am assuming that the clutch is disengaged and then the RPM drop down low......but then what exactly happens next?????
Those two codes.....were they KOEO, CM, or KOER?
With any luck it may just turn out to be the IAC......?

Yes, the clutch is disengaged when the stalling occurs. The truck starts right up, and runs fine other than that. I have not personally witnessed this problem, but I was able to pull the two codes which were found during the koeo test. I thought that an IAC problem would affect the idle only.
