I diffently need some more height between the wheel wells and the tire, i ended up hitting some pot holes on the road and the tires pushed up on my fender though little damaged was done. I order some 2" Coil springs from Ebay but they hardly make any difference so i was wondering if i installed some 3-4" high lift coils do i need to make adjustments to the radius arms for the extra height added???
How big are the tires you are running? Are your current front springs broke or just really worn out? I run 31 10.50's on my 78 bronco and have yet to hit anything hard enuf to push the front tires up into the fender.
for running 35's a 4 inch lift is perfect, just put in new c bushings with the springs, I think 4 degree bushings are the right ones. A drop pitman arm would also be nice, but not totally needed.
petes79f150, a body lift would be cheaper, but then you would have to go through a ***** load of work to install it, lengthen linkage, ect... or have someone install it, and then that is anything but cheap.
hillbillyk, like you said a 4" lift would clear 35s(4" coils are fairly cheap $115-160) without a problem, but you would need 7 degree c bushings, and in the rear either install a larger block or add a leaf or combo(about $50), and then you would also need extended brake lines(one for the front one for the rear, about $30 each), and a drop trac bar bracket($20).
And that would be it, about $245 and you'd be good to go. If you moved up to a 6" lift, then you would need new radius arm drop brackets, drop pitman arm, new extended trac bar, all coming out to about $150-200 extra for 2 more inches.
Rough Country has a 4" Suspension lift for my 77 Ford for $235.00 bucks from JCWhitney, my next paycheck im gonna mail this in, one thing is for sure is that its gonna look badass with this lift!!
Just wondering, does Rought Country's kit come with extended brake lines?
If not, I would suggest going to broncograveyard.com and check out the parts I talked about in my previous post.
Just to say, Rough country and superlift both don't have the best coil springs out there(they are really stiff, and tend to sag), broncograveyard.com has some supper flex coil springs that are great(good flex and ride, and don't sag), skyjacker has about the same quality springs also, either one would work great.

Hey thanks for the info, i checked out broncograveyard.com and it has a 4.5" lift for $300.00 a little more then the other one but probably more worth it then rough country. Oh yeah, im still got an extra pair of extended brake line's from a previous lift i did on another ford and i just got those for back up, so i got that covered.
