help shortbox swap?

I have a 78 shortbox f-150 4x4, my buddy has a 1977 f-150 supercab shortbox that the front is totaled, will the boxes interchange?

yes and no...they are the same for appearance but the frame widths are different so you'll need to fab up some brackets.. it was pretty easy- thats how i did mine. let me know and i'll get you some pix..

i beleive that they are the same, on 150 to 150. the 250s, 73-77.5 had narrower frames.
