ok ive got an 83 f250, and ive got stock mirrors on it, one problem, get up to 20mph n they BLOW DOWN is there ne way to tighten them so they dont blow down?
If you guys want a laugh, I checked out the cost of replacement brackets for my mirrors [they have some rust] on my 84 F250 from Ford, turns they out the only come in complete sets.... $345.00 plus 14% tax Canadian OUCH!
Now you know why I put stainless steel west coast mirrors on my truck.
They were only 300 dollars, and they are big enough that I can see everything behind me.
Makes it so much easier to back a trailer in a tight place.
As an added feature I can also install lighted and heated mirror heads for a few dollars more. They are a great place to attach cell and CB antennas.
The only downside is some drivethru lanes become a test to see how good you are at estimating distances. My truck will not fit through some bank drive thru window lanes.
