That is the check engine light or service engine soon light, which ever you prefer. You need to have it checked out, take it to the dealer that is your best bet.
before you head yourself over to the Stealership, if there is a Autozone, go there and get a free diagnostic testing done. You are always better off by knowing exactly whats wrong with our vehicle before you take it in for service. Just my 2 cent

I agree with is300wrx hear. Autozone offers a free diagnostic and if you are not under warranty anymore then I would definitely take it there first. It could be something stupid which would end up costing you aloit more at a dealer if you don't....I learned that the hard way with my girls sable
thanks for your input,i disconnected the battery for an hour and it seemed to go away for now.this occured after i gave some guy a hot shot, maybe that caused it.

well i was dumb and took it to the dealer and they charged me 109.00 to tell me that it was my cold air intake sending out a lean signal.what a rip off. i figured it would be a factory/warranty issue.let this be a lessonto all of you.
what??? If you were under warranty, why would you have to pay a dime to get anything fixed, unless if the cause was from you adding on mod...I would've aruged with the service manager.
