axle id

axles off a 78 250. what is it? 4 10, assuming 4 10 gears. 4 10 edd7 ta al
603901 -5
common, tell me its a 70. thanks guys.

Chrono are you asking about both axles or just the rear if it just the rear it's probly just a D60 in just a F250. I think D70 were found in F350's and up now i can be wrong.

that id is just the rear. i know that 60s came in base 250's, but a 70 could be had.

Yeah it would depend on how the original owner ordered it from ford.

where'd you find those numbers? on an axle tag?

it sure looks like a 70 but like i said its ahrd to tell in just a pic

yes, the numbers came off the id tag on the rear diff.its got what looks like 3 inch tubes
