Power Point: No Power

Power Point: No Power
Hey guys, I was just wondering, I have no power going to my front power point when I plug in my cell phone charger. I do however have power to the rear power point and to the cigar lighter. I don't know if it is a fuse or what since the manual doesn't list a fuse for this. Thanks, Rick.

My '04 wiring manual shows 20A fuse F2.39 (bottom row of narrow fuses, 2nd from left in the fuse panel lwr pax kick panel) goes to the instr panel pwr point. It is the only device that fuse powers.
The rear seat pwr pts come from a different fuse (F2.37). The lighter works off F2.41.

evl150 makes a good point...fuses don't go bad; they do their job and protect the circuit when a short to ground is present.
Look for a Brown w/ Pink stripe wire at the fuse panel and follow it to the power point, and make sure it is not chafed or worn and grounding out somewhere along the way. If you find something, get some insulation (tape, heat-shrink tubing, etc) and repair the wire.
