Fuel Starving
I have an 86 F-250 4wd, 460cid carburated. When running on the rear tank, after about 1/2 tank . It starts cutting out like it's out of gas, and if I switch to the front tank and then to the rear again, it will be fine for awhile and then do it again. I've taken the rear tank out to replace the float and clean out the filter screen. I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem. It only happens when I'm on the rear tank. Could it be the fuel pump is too weak to maintain a suction from the rear tank??
