1st timer here, I have a pre 1999.5 (just found out)f250 psd and my turbo leaks oil everywhere, got a new garret turbo given to me but it is for a 1999.5 and later. everything matches up even the pedestal except the cnc? crossover pipe that splits from the compressor to the cooler. just need to know if I should break down and buy the right turbo or is there way to make this one work. any help would be great.

You can use the newer turbo, but you'll need some more parts to bolt it in. What is the nateure of the leak on the stock turbo? If it's the o-rings for the pedestal you may not need the new turbo.
