I Orderd a Mark LT!

The incentives were just too good....can hardly wait to throw on a set of pipes and...after looking at all the bed covers, I'm building my own. Contacted an upholster and between the two of us I can build (a hard top built from aluminum, covered with convertible top material) for about $300.

FYI, my 1990 is listed in the for sale ad's for those who might be interested.

Congratulations on the new purchase! Are you getting 2wd or 4wd? What color and options did you go with? I especially like the grille on the LT.

Thanks Ruckus,

Me too, I'm concerned they may change the interior and grill next year to look like the new naviagtor so with all the incentives it was time. I was also surprised, the rack & pinion is really nice and the turning radius is the same as my present F150 (standard cab, short bed).

I ordered a 4x2, red with parchment (tan) interior, black running boards, tow package, privacy glass, bed extender, power pedals and 18" chrome rims. The one they found that I'm actually waiting on also has satellite radio and the power rear window and heated seats (all of these i will probably never use being in SoCal).

Within 72 hrs of receipt, it will be at the muffler shop in San Pedro getting some twin noise pipes installed (will start with no muffler, then if we really have to we will try allied glasspacks and a hooker aerochamber, which ever one sounds the best, thats what she'll have).

I stopped by the hardware store today and bought the supplies I need to build the latches for the bed cover, so here we go!

Update:

Got the truck a few weeks ago, pipes have been installed, MPG jumped up by 1, bedrug is in (very impressed BTW) & I'm working on the bed cover......
I built the polished spring loaded latches last week end, purchsed the remainder of the aluminum framing material which has all been cut to length, I will be brazing it up next weekend and should have the unit assembled in 3 weeks. Next week she goes in for the 3m scotchguard paint protection on the front end!

Pics to come as I get the bed cover completed.
