We discussed this previously - its a great idea, but we were slightly concerned about what gets stored within the PCM to do this.
I assume you did the trial?
How did you find it?
Have you taken your truck to the dealership since installing it?
Am curious - would be good to hear from someone that has done it.

I cant find it right now, but there is a video on Bullydogs website that has all the info on the try before you buy. Maybe it was in the dealer section. They claim it leaves no trace. So now you have the Mod Bug it sounds like. Goodluck hehehe

I found this on their website. I had it installed on thursday morning, the dealership that intalled assured me they could not trace it! He told me a cummins had it done and the abs light stayed on, he took it to the dealer and they could not find anything. His warrenty is going to take care of his abs light. I have not had mine to the dealer yet. This was a dramatic diff. to my truck though!! The shiffting was so much better and the performance was awsome. The program is set on the performace mode. Even though this is my first experince with a tuner so i am not a real good critic on tuners. I will post more results later, I believe the download will be gone soon.

Just so you know, that tune is a 70HP tune, it is not the full blown tune! LOL...If you like that, wait until you buy the real deal! The tune works for 3-5 days, it goes in as a 70HP file, and slowly backs itself off and within 5 days is completely gone. Its a neat concept. Lets you get a taste of the potential, lets you play with it a couple days...and then takes away your new-found power so you run back for the real power fix...The triple dog! I wish more companies would run a similar introduction to the tunes, it would make selling all the brands just that much easier.

You cant get it from their website, you need to go to the nearest bully dog dealler. They will set you up in about 5 min.

The download Patrick was talking about was a video of what the dealer issue downloader is. Its just to show what it is, what it does, and why you want it. In my opinion the video is more for dealers than customers....customers dont want to see a video, they want POWER!!!!....LOL.

I just checked out their website and they show 4 power levels for the 06 PSD from stock up to 230HP. Is this just with the tuner or do you have to add the intake and exhaust to get to that level. That is far an away more power than enything else I have seen advertiised. I think quadzilla wa at about 160 additional HP but 230 is kickass. Anybody tried this unit at full power and what was the take.

I did something similar with my SuperChips FlashPaq...I went to the local dealer and he let me take the tuner after he set it up and try it for a week. I had to leave a credit card number. SuperChips has a 30 day refund policy. I thought it was a good selling tool for the dealer to use and it sold the unit.

Nono...you have to goto a dealer and they install the program from the BULLY DOG MASTER DOWNLOADER. Its not something a customer can get on his own, it is a tool for the dealer to use to allow you to "sample" the tune for a few days and hopefully sell you the product upon your return. There is no magical free downloadable tunes....lol.....Just got www.BullyDog.com nad check at the bottom of the page for the link, or click the link above and loacate the dealer nearest to you that has this master downloader.

If you want to try it, look at the link I had put in above that goes direct to that section and go to the very bottom of that page. If you go to the regular link to locate a dealer, that will NOT tell you dealers with the master downloader....it will just puke out all dealers in your state...period. If you goto the bottom of the Tri-Before you buy page and look at THAT list of dealers...you are now seeing the particular dealers that DO have the master downloader. I dont have a master downloader.....its too rich for my small time blood :]

Hey fordtrkpuller since you must be a dealer for the Bullydog maybe you can answer the question about the "crazy larry' tune. It shows it for the Dodge up to 230 additional HP if I remember correctly, my question is does it have the same tune for the ford?
