Engline pulls when its cold outside
Hi all, i am a new member and this is my 1st post. I have a 2000 Ex with the PSD. When it is cold outside, I live in the Northwest, it sounds like the engine has an air leak, seems to pull to the passenger side and the engine looses power. Thanks for any help.

I belive that there is no problem...sounds like the EBPV (Exhaust Back pressure Valve) is working correctly...Does the engine run well AFTER it is warmed up? I don't understand what you mean by "pulling on the passenger side", but I would bet that everything is alright. The EBPV is a device which speeds up engine warm-up. When it is warm outside OR when the engine is warm, does it run alright then?

That sound is your EBPV closing on the turbine housing to help warm the engine when it's cold. Loss of power is normal.
