Water Pump Troubles
I replaced the water pump on my 1990 f350 w/460 a month and a half ago because it had gone out and now the new water pump is doin the same thing
is it just a defective water pump?
or could it be something else that is making the waterpumps go out?
when the water pumps went out each time the made a screaching sound that never stopped and coolant sprayed everywhere

Alot of times the reason for the first failure is some corrosion in the system and should be flushed before installing a new one. I'd take the new one back for a replacement and then flush the system and replace the coolant.
