i have a 2000 250 4x4. ex cab utility body V-10. right now riding on 33x12.5s. thats how i bought it. it has an 8' plow on it, the only time the tires rub are when the plow is on and up, then its only at full lock and barely. i'm not sure if its lifted or not, its been too cold for me to bother checking. it has 70k miles on it. the front end seems to sag quite a bit when the plow is on, i'm assuming the front springs have weaked a good bit over the years and its sagging too much now. my question is, are all springs from ex cab short bed trucks the same size? if so, whats the rating on the diesel springs? can i swap out the old stockers for a new set of diesel springs to compensate for the plow weight and maybe pick up an extra inch or two of height? i have a set of 36s going on in the spring, i want to just do a 2" shackle kit in front. once i know what i'm doing with that, then i'm going to research what im doing with the rear suspension because the utility body opening is way too small to do it the easy way and put bigger blocks in.

Yes. If you are measuring from spring eye to spring eye...all the '00-2004 front springs are the same size or length.

Yes/No...you really can not gain an inch or two by installing new diesel springs (unless your current springs have that much sag). What you would want to do...is install a new set of SD springs that were meant for the plow package. The springs are the same in all respects...except have a higher spring rate for the added weight of the plow. They do not necessarily give you a higher/taller stance.
If you get new plow diesel rated springs...and go with the shackle lift...then you will achieve the results you want for the 36" tires up front.
With that said, I recommend installing the Donahoe Racing system 2" level mini spring pack...JMHO.
The x springs for plow package give you 1.5 inches higher than all the rest.. Check the door sticker bottom right to see what you have or what the truck originally came with.
