I have noticed while viewing the Picture Gallery that some '78 Trucks have square headlights while others have round. I thought of changing to a 78 grill in order to get the single piece insert while retaining my round headlights. Does any one know if the mounting tab locations match those of a '77 grill or would I have to modify either the grill or my truck (rolls eyes in horror) to make this work?

you will need a complete grill and headlight buckets from the doner truck.the shell will bolt rite up the way the old one came off but you will have to install the headlight buckets first from the 78 all you will need to do is drill 2 holes into the core suport(when you get the buckets bolted on the top you will see were you will need to drill the holes at the botom).then bolt it on then your shell then your bezels then your done its real easy.
