o2 sensor code

o2 sensor code
i have a 98 5.4 f150 4x4 the cel came on and the code is p0155(upstream heated o2 sensor heater circuit fault) bank 2, i was told that that was bank 2 sensor 1, is this the driver or passenger side sensor, first or second from exhaust manifold??

It s the passenger side and I think the first one from the manifold.

Bank 2 is the driver's side, not the passenger side. Upstream means the one closest to the engine upstream of the cat.
Check the sensor's heater with an ohmmeter before replacing it. Sometimes it's just a connector that needs to be reseated. If the heater in the sensor is intact and the code reoccurs, then there is either a wiring harness fault or a fault in the PCM. Consult the diagnostic procedure int eh PCED for exact steps to check.
