I have a 1986 F-150 Lariat. I am restoring this truck and I would like new door panels. All I can find are the all plastic door panels. My current old panels have a section of carpet on them. Where can I find a replacement for these that are not all plastic.
Yeah let me know how they come in. I would really prefer to get as close to the original ones as possible but if I have to go all plastic I will. I will also give LMC a call and see what they have.
I'm not familiar with that model, but couldn't you just transfer the carpet to the new door panel. The carpet on my Grand Prix just has some adhesive on the back.
82F150Beast - Sounds good I am really courious how they come. You are expecting them to come with carpet on them right?
srercrcr- I could take the carpet off I guess but the person who had the truck before me put a few cig. holes in it so I would prefer new. Plus with new carpet and everything else new I don't want old dirty carpet with cig holes in it.
Actually I have to apologize, I read the initial post wrong, I missed the "not" when you meantioned the plastic. Mine will be all plastic. Sorry about that, but give J.C. Whitney a call and see if they have any like the ones you need.
I am not talking about the carpet below the plastic panels. My truck came with doorpanels that were not all plastic. These door panels were only on Lariats. If you look at pictures on this site of 85' or 86' F-150 Lariats you will see what I am talking about. My Map pockets (the section below the door panel) are in good shape. I would like to have the Lariat replacement panels but I can not find them.
