ABS light

Heres a fun one, ABS light is out in the morning and on after sitting 8 hours at works. It's cool in the morning and hot later in the day. Going to have the code pulled later next week.

Mine has just started acting up also. You can start the vehicle up and drive it and it will be fine. The next time you start it the light comes on and stays on. Then you can turn the engine off and then restart and it will go off. Sometimes it will come on as you are driving it. I replaced the rear sensor last fall. That time it came on and would not turn off (I used one from Advance Auto Parts), and I have also replace both of the front bearing assemblies at the same time I replaced the rear sensor(for other reasons). I am getting ready to replace the rear sensor again, I will probably get one from the Ford dealership this time.

My 97 Explorer has the ABS light on to, but my has been on steady for about two months. When I had the codes pulled it said something about the rear speed sensor, so I replaced the sensor and the light is still on even after I reset the ABS computer, I changed the sensor about a week after the light came on.

Low brake fluid can also throw the ABS light but usually throws the brake light too.

Did you ever have a chance to pull the codes?
