oohhk. i thought you were saying that my 35's wernt gonna work. i see now, its all clear now. u have to have somthing in it for her. offer to do the dishes
The 35's will be nice. Youv'e got a killer project going there. On a sidenote I did install a dishwasher. Maybe that will count as doing the dishes.
When I just logged on, saw your new gallery. Looks good. The only thing is that I would go bigger than 35s. That much work, might as well go bigger. I already wish I had It is nice to see some of the crew too. Unfortunately, I am alone working on my truck. My wife kind of views it as a waste of time. If I were you, I would be running to get a bronco. If nothing else, gives you something else to tinker with.
whats it run to rebuild a factory ls? thinking of stealling the carrier and rebiulding it for my tow rig. can youl put extra clutches in these to tighten them up?
Just slap in a drop in locker. I bought a Ls for a truck one time, and can't believe now that I didn't just go for a locker. They aren't bad, and much more bang for the buck than a LS.

it depends on what kind. i am putting a power lock in my rear 60 but only because i got it with another axle for $50. the clutches were just over $100 and let me tell you them things are so tight new that i think this this is going to act more like a locker than a LS, i can't wait to try it. but i would deffinitly get a locker if you have the extra to spare.
Puttin a Solid Axle in the place of something different. In his case he is replacing the TTB (independant type suspension) with an axle out of a '78 F250, so he will be putting leaf springs up front.
I'm over here in Centerville. Not too far away. Did you guys get the inch+ of ice we got? Man...I busted my tailbone yesterday, and again today - it hurts just sitting here. Went to hop in my truck and stepped onto the running boards...slid on the ice on the board, and did the classic "up in the air...down on the ___." Ow....
What gears you opting for? I'm going 4.56 with my 35's. Rob gives me trouble cause I'm almost as steep as his. But that should be about right for me when I'm on the drive. You got msn?
94, yeah we got the ice too, outa school yesterday for it. i have no idea on gears yet, im planning on going with a 351, so i wont need the high revs of the 302, so who knows yet. i got the rear axle on tonight, and i got the front placed up. have to make the hangers, hook the brakes up, and then put the drivelines back in. it looks like a truck again, ill try to get some pics in a few. man its cold outside, -2.
