was looking at spring caps for my f250 2wd(02) currently family hauler ..not big rock crawler.....any othr suggestions? leveling vs.maybe a bigger stance for not so old family man
Gatorbill I have an 03 and would like to do the same without spending an arm and leg. What are these "spring caps" your looking at and where can you get them? Sounds like something to go above the springs between springs and mounts? I have heard of something that goes below the springs but cant seem to locate any of those either. Please post back with anything you may find. Mine is a PSD so that might limit my options! Thanks Redboat

Reason: need to add more info
I would say a leveling kit, even though I'm not sure about the 2wd factor. You could run add-a-leaves in the front, or new spring hangers. Either one will work. Call the lift company of your choice to discuss the 2wd lift options.
You can't run add a leafs or hangars on two wheel drive superduty's. They are coil over suspension in the front. Fabtech makes a few different lifts for the 2 wheel drive, but i think they are kinda spendy. Might check the fabtech lifts out though, just to get any idea what size you want.
I been looking for something for my '05 2wd diesel as well. From what I have read, and talked to shops about, the poly spacers are basically just plastic and wear down over a couple years. Someone on here found a metal spacer but turns out it was for 4wds. I tried emailing the company that made it, but after 3 un-returned emails I gave up. Not even sure who that was anymore.
