Back spacing on 65 Fleetside

Back spacing on 65 Fleetside
Am I going to have any problem fitting a 15 X 8 wheel with 4" back spacing into the rear wheel well on my 65 f100 Standard box? Thanks in advance for the input.

First you need to determine if after 41 years the stock rear is still in it. The truck i have may not be the same as yours. Use a level placed on thef ace of the brake drum and measure from the edge to the outer bed panel. this will give you the maixum tire outside then measure inside to the inner tub of the wheel house. this will give you the maxium inner dimnesion. one inch clearance is good for tires. any clooser and things can get smokey in turns.
Rim width and tire profile can be determined by these simple dimensions including backspace.
