Parking brake cables
I need new parking brake cables and the parts stores don't list them for my 67 F250, any ideas where to get them?

Parking brake cables
Terry, I have used cable from the hardware store. These are not stopping brakes but holding brakes for a stopped vehicle.

Parking brake cables
I have also been looking for parking brake cables for my truck. Its a 70 f250 4x4. All of the catalogs I have seen only show cables for f100's, f250 2 wheel drive and f350 2 wheel drive. Any ideas of where to find cables for my truck? Thanks...

James, Do the 4X4 trucks run different parking brake cable setups?

I'm not sure if they are the same or not. When I tried my local parts dealer or a catalog company they said that they don't carry cables for the f250 4wd, only 2wd. I would think its the same part, but I could be mistaken.

James, I could be mistaken, but I thought the difference in the 4X4 was on the front end. Give the 2wd parts a whirl.
