I have a 2001 Ranger 4x4, with automatic transmission and the SOHC 4.0 V6. Tonight after I started the truck, I sat and talked to a couple of friends while the engine idled. I suddenly noticed that the ABS light was glowing, I turned the the truck off, restarted, and the light didn't show anymore. It drove and broke fine on the 30 minute drive home, and the light never came back on. Any ideas as to the cause of this, should I be worried, does it store a code, should I take it in? the truck has 64,xxx miles on it and I've never had this happen before.
