got rust

i got a 83 f150 and i got a small rust hole on the bottom cab corner i was wondering if yall could give me a guess at how much it would cost to get it fixed.i want to get it welded,not bondoed. thanx

Depending on the body shop, it should cost about $150 to have a new cab corner welded in on your truck. If you're planning on having the new cab corner painted to match, it'll cost a little more. Good luck with your 83 F150. They are nice trucks! I used to have an 83 F150 with a totally rust-free body. I had to get rid of it though, because it had alot of problems mechanically and I didn't have the money at the time to get it fixed.

thanx john i have thought about sellin mine many of times, but just cant bring myself to do it,it is my fisrt truck i bought when i was 15, now i plan on restoring it.

i had the same problems on the same truck, year and everything. the more i tried to find the rust to fix it, the more and more i found, a new cab now sits where the old one once carried me around... best of luck
