Smile New Here!

Hey everybody, My Name is Marcus i am 16 years old i drive a 2000 Ford F150 Supercab with the 5.4 Liter V8. lol before i go any further let me say that i am not some spoiled brat, i bought this truck with my own money, i pay for insurance and gas and my mods... i seem to get that alot which is fine and understandable.

I came over here from becuase i can never have enough forums to ask questions or answer questions.

I have my gallery setup, i dont know how to put a avator up yet but i will figure it out.

I am thinking of getting the truck boosted with a T4 Turbo, I am thinking of having BoostFactory Do it here in Saint Paul, Iv been going back and forth on a turbo or a Supercharger, im preety set on the turbo now.

I have too many things that i want to get done to my truck but i always have to make sure i have enough money at the end of the month for the payment and insurance. i will soon have wheels and tires, and hopfully in spring i will have the turbo on.

well thanks for listening too my life long story and im looking forward to chatting with all of you!

Marcus

That is a nice looking truck. The hood scoop reminds me of the scoop on my 1970 AMX.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

I got the Pinstripe From Ebay, Awesome guy to deal with His Name is chris if i remember right. his ebay name is dunnegraphics.

I bought the truck bone stock in august of 2005 for 10,500.

My Mom also owns a 2002 Harley Davidson Truck, And that is why i am thinking of boostin my truck with the turbo, because she is constantly braggin about how her truck is faster and all that fun stuff to hear... lol its hard to hear, but ill get her soon enough.

Thanks again for the compliments

Hmmm Turbo...nice to have..but just my preference,...what about a supercharger? No boost lag. Now if only I can find one for my 4.6.

Oh...Did you get those headlights on Ebay? I have seen them on there but have been leary that they will not fit right, or even work. Info on those?

i went back and forth with turbo or SC, i dont haul very often and im happy with the low end that i have now, so there for i think the turbo would be best for me, also all i will have to do is power brake a little to get the boost up.

Yes i got these headlights off ebay, i love them, i am going to be running a HID kit in them soon as soon as i get time, but they are incredibly brighter than stock, i get so many compliments on these headlights, i have my LED's and halos wired to a switch so i can turn them on or off whenever i want, the only thing is that they are a pain to get in and fit nicely, also very weird with aiming, there is no cutting or modifying to get the headlights in, its just you gotta kinda get... uh angry with them. worth the time and money tho. i say go for it!

Seperate switch for the LED's and halo's...I like that...may wire em into the "pull" option of my switch so they come on with the factory fogs.

Truck looks great! I really like the hood, and the front end is well done! I'm interested how the turbo does for the 5.4. Rob

I'm usually not a fan of the stainless rocker panels, but I gotta admit they look good on your truck. It must be the color that offsets it right or something. Good work man, and nice job on owning such a fine rig at such a young age.
