You'll need @ least a Mild RV Cam to go w/ it.

I am already running an RV cam in my 300, I have recently added a Hedman Hedder and a Holley 350 2bbl. I have been trying to decide if I should go to the Chevy 250 six rockers and a Cloyes adjustable timing gear set for straight up cam timing. I am still running stock pistons, do I need to be concerned about the valves hitting pistons with the 1.7 rockers? Also is the straight up cam timing a good idea, can I expect significant power gains from it?

the pistons shouldn't bend the valves until you pass redline. are you using stock
springs with that cam? if you are, change them to stiffer ones or you will bend valves
or pushrods at the top end of the rpm range. better to recurve your distributor for
your cam than tinker with the timing gear. heck of a lot less work.
