dana 60 help

I am replacing my dana 60 rearend in my 77 f250 crewcab. I found several at the local pick and pull. From research I believe only a 76 and up will have the same spring perches, and I know that the rear ujoints come in two sizes. If I find a good dana 60 with different size ujoints, can I just change the rear ujoint holder(sorry can't think of correct name now, brainfart) from my original Dana 60. I know that the nut preloads the pinion assembly , but will torquing it back to factory specs be close enough or am I asking for trouble? I have found a Dana 60 with limited slip, but I could not tell which size ujoints it used. I would like to have the limited slip feature.

thanks in advance for any help

You should be able to change out the "yoke" (that's what I call it) between the two of them. Torque the big nut to factory specs and that should be ok.
