I'm slowly getting my truck back off the road.
Had some electrical issues lately (bright pedal and light switch)
so I've been gentle with her. I can't go to crazy, cause
I have no one else to wheel with. Plus there aren't
very many legal places around here.
Here's the pics I would have vid but the battery is crap and
won't hold a charge. Doesn't look like much but the ride
back there is pretty awesome water 2 feet deep beginers off-road
stuff perfect for me.
looks nice... when those tires wear out try to get 38's on it. Anyways... those slick paths/roads like that in the pic are really fun to go down in 4x4 and purposefully fishtail and powerslide...
I have a 78 Bronco that looks a lot like your rig ... only a few feet shorter and maybe not as tall. If you feel like heading to NW Michigan we have some real nice 4x4 areas ... I live 20 minutes from Silver Lake State Park ... massive dunes and all the sand you want. We also run a couple Mixed ORV trails heading to my cabin which is a mile from Tin Cup Trail ... not sure how may miles of trails the big rigs can ride but it is a bunch. I know it blows wheelin by yourself ....
Dude you need a winch ..... winchin yourself out with a Hi-lift or comealong is a real bear ... or tryin to find tow driver that will come a mile in to get you out can be next to impossible .... I know .. done it more that once.
thanks guys
Yeah I've been buried, and when everyone you know
has a stock truck with radials it's no help.
My buddy used to have a 77F-150 with a modded 460 and C6 sitting
on8" of lift and 38" swampers and hogs. We went anywhere we pleased
as long as both of us weren't stuck.
chrono: I might get 36" or 37" tires next I like having all the travel though.
Michdrake:yeah winch is next on the list.
KO: thanks dude!

I agree. I like lots of tire clearance. They barely border on the small-ish side, but look good. I know what you are saying about friends with stock tires. My truck isn't huge, but I don't seem to be in the big truck circle. The few people I know with bigger trucks have the ever popular toyo open countrys that can't get out of wet grass. I wish there was more people here with mudders that enjoyed trail riding. The biggest trucks only go to the mud bog, and not even out on the trails
Gyger - Truck looks awesome. I also know what you mean about not being able to wheel it. The last nite we went out boggin around here my buddy had his 73 F250 with 38" boggers and he got skeered and wouldn't leave the damn road. So, if I go out and there is a chance I might get stuck I better make sure someone is around the farm to bring the tractor.
