Just check my gallery. I drive the 98 to school everyday (it has right at 160,000 miles), and the 69 is my farm truck (it has ?46,000 miles). I need some new pictures though. I've been thinking of getting a Superchips Tuner (anything to help that 4.6) and I'm gonna build a hot 390 for Ol Blue next year.

Nice "69! I have a '67 4x4 that I need to get pics in the gallery. I'm with you on the 4.6. Mine gets great mileage, but has the power of a black and decker aquarium pump! That's what you get when they put a car engine in a truck! Another reason why I'm getting a diesel!

I ordered it from Woodhouse in Blair, Ne. They gave me a great deal, almost ten thousand off sticker, including the 2500 rebate. Here is what it will be:
F-250 Lariat C/C with the longbed-Black with no second color
6.0 PSD with the torqueshift
3.73 w/ limited slip
engine heater
FX4 package
20"wheels w/goodyears
tow command system
captains chairs/heated (tan interior)
power rear slider
moonroof
6 disc cd changer
roof marker lights
This will be the longest 6-12 weeks of my life waiting for this thing!

Sounds like a nice rig. Hope all goes well with your Woodhouse dealings as they didn't go well. Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing.

Have you dealt with them before? I made sure that the price they quoted was the "out the door" price. I've had dealers add extra charges on after the price quote, and have walked out on the deal. Hopefully, this won't be the case

Yeah... Well lets just say that I was told that I was "banned". I think if I took a check up there they would give me a truck but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Plenty of other dealers around. Short story, Second day I had my 02 they gouged the paint down to metal. They then took about 2 months to get the paint and didn't fix it to my satisfaction. When they asked what my problem was I told them to fix it right or compensate me for it. The guy got mad and started to yell at me and when I laughed at him, he started to scream and told me to never come back. Needless to say my next 4 Fords didn't come from them and I don't see any of the next ones coming from them. Plenty of people love them though.

I think we could start a whole new thread about how Woodhouse blows. I got my 99 F-150 from them. The first and maybe last vehicle I ever bought from a dealer. They had me fill out one of those applications for life and disability insurance. They said it was just an "application" and it didnt mean I was gonna get it. 6 months later I refinanced through my bank and they informed me I had the insurance so I canceled it imediately and got some money back. Oh and that 5 year loan I thought I got was really a 6 year. They didnt tell me thats how they were able to get the payments where I wanted them. Also I traded in my 84 Olds beater and a few months later the Omaha police said it was in their impound lot. Apparently Woodhouse sold it to some shifty used car dealer and who ever bought it abandoned it in North Omaha and never titled it. Woodhouse sucks!

I have heard about half and half: some hate them, some love them. I have been going to there service dept. with my wifes expedition and my F150 for about four years now, and have been pretty happy with them. This will be the first time I've dealt with the sales side. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

97, thanks for the compliment on blue. You're lucky that you get good milage. I have to baby it to get much over 14 mpg.....I'd rather have the 5.4 but oh well.

We've never dealt with Woodhouse, but it seems like they just have hundreds of thousands of vehicles there.

Yeah, their inventory is nuts! Unfortunately, they didn't have the truck I wanted, so I ended up ordering it. What does your '69 have for a motor? My '67 has a straight six right now (not running right now). I am trying to decide if I'm going to keep it and restore it, or sell it. I'll have three trucks when I get the super duty (I'm keeping the '97). I might sell the '67, and maybe get a 66-67 fairlane to restore. If I do keep it, I have a 390 sitting in the garage that would fit in it nicely!

Hey 150 ford here. I just seen this Nebraska forum an was reading this thread anWoodHouse Ford came up. I bought a used pickup from them a year ago. A used 7.3 PSD 2003 model. Im very happy with the truck. Pat did they offer you the extra warranty after the Ford warranty is up? Have they tried to sell you undercoating for your truck? Im glad to see Nebraska has there own forum. Now we just need new members. Nice trucks guys. Im looking forward to talking with you guys in the future as I am on Fte quite a bit. I am going to have some sevice work done upthere pretty soon. Pat sounds like they have treated you right hopefully that will be the case with me.

I'm still waiting to do all of the financing/ warranty stuff on the truck, it hasn't come in yet. I will probably get an additional extended warranty, I plan on keeping the truck for at least ten years (have to justify the cost!). I'm actually going to Woodhouse on Monday to talk with the accesories dept. and see what they'll offer me. I already know they want too much for a spray in bedliner (Line-X), so I'm going to have to see if they'll deal. I'll let you guys know how it comes out. Talk to Paul Helgenberger in Service. He has always treated me right.

Pat
