I cannot say with 100% certainty, but I have never seen one.
Just so you know...this area deals mainly with the 48-60 ford trucks. Anything from f-1s and f-100s to the really big ones. If anyone would know for sure....its these guys.
Welcome! I have not seen one or seen them mentioned as an option in the dealer brochures I've seen, but George (Earl), our illustrious assylum moderator and keeper of all facts F100 should be along momentarily with the definitive answer and part #s where available. Meanwhile pull up a chair and help yourself to some cookies, Wed is chocolate chip day!
No, I havent heard of one stock, but I did see that a gut at a local show put a Timex in the center of his horn button, Looked pretty neat, but then again he had a rotatry phone in the center console a well.
Welcome aboard! Clocks were not offered as options from the factory in 1956 BUT, some dealers and dealer-contracted outfits may have installed them as an option. Thus, they might be considered "stock" since a dealer either installed them or arranged for the installation.
I'm finding more and more dealer installed options on these old trucks as I get literature and other information. I'm trying to track down some second-hand information about a dealer that supposedly offered Ford script blue oval carpet floor mats for the 1956 trucks. Never heard of such a thing before. 'course it may turn out to be a false lead - you never know.
