302 to 300 need help

First find a donor vehical. Or find one with the engine and another with the computer and all the wiring. Its not that hard if you find one with all the stuff you need. Find a donor with a bad trannny or a wreck in the rear for cheap.

If you want to ditch the 302, we can help with that. If you need help getting the 302 to run right, we'll help with that too. Swapping the motor out is a lot of work that requires a lot of planning and knowledge. It will almost certainly be easier to get your 302 running right.

I agree. I had to replace my 302 with a rebuilt one and that takes a lot of work. You would just think its a matter of disconnecting and rehooking but its not as easy as it sounds. Try to figure out what is wrong with it first before you go swapping engines.
