I assume that the shock brackets are the same for F-100 as F-250, but I was wondering can coil-over shocks be used on either model? I've got plenty of suspension on mine with the helpers and so on, but can what of the F-100? The bracket is welded onto the bottom of the axle tube... I don't think I like the idea of that for a place for a load-bearing spring.I ask this for a friend with a 1969 F-100. We may just add a helper spring(leaf).Any thoughts? Thanks, Bill.PS, I don't get on the forum much, there was a fellow interested in my literature concerning 1970 "specials" like my Heavy Duty Special. If you are still out there, my appologies for not responding. Get in touch, and I can e-mail a copy of whatever you need.
Bill I have used them on a F100 and like them. I will buy them again. It's not going to give you support like an extra leaf, but it gives a little extra. IMHO of course.
