corsa exhaust
Saw in the latest Deisel Power that there was a Corsa exhaust at the SEMA show. It said it has patented system that eliminates all drone. True? Has anybody used this exhaust?

Read up on their muffler design before you buy, quite restrictive on a diesel, works OK on gas though. You need straight thru on a diesel. The systems we have, AFE and MBRP, don't have any drone issues either so that's not going to be a problem for you. Call us if you have any questions etc we'll be glad to help you.

Mark, I'm looking at the article from the Diesel Builder magazine on the Corsa Exhaust system for the 6L powerstroke and it shows that it is a straight through design with their "Reflective Sound Cancellation". They even should a picture on their website and you can see right through the muffler. It's seems like a good design to me and I even read that some Ford dealerships are allowing the installation without affecting the warranty. Just my .02 I think it looks and sounds like a great system. Go to www.corsaperf.com to listen to the soundbites. The only problem I see is $933 for the system.

Mark is correct, the AFE and MBRP systems are for sure without a doubt the best way to go. We carry Corsa and even rode in a Corsa company vehicle with the system you spoke about, and yes it was quiet at cruising speed and sounded good a WOT. If you are going to retain your Cat and use the MBRP muffler you will be surprised that without spending 900 clams, these systems work just fine.

Get a cross section view of that muffler and you'll see what I mean!! Plus like Discount Power Parts said if you leave the cat in (and you will if you have any warranty fears) there is no drone to be worried about and we can get you into a system for a LOT less than 933.00 too!!
