Need some help 2.9 w/no spark

I just installed a new engine in my 89 ranger. Now it wont start it has no spark. I have no power at the plug that goes to the distributor. This thing has me stumped I have checked every wire connection and changed the TFI module. The coil has power to it I just cant think of anything that may be the prblem. It was running before I pulled the motor

Every wire connection??? That's a lot of wire connections. According to my wiring diagram (Chilton's for an '87), there's a red/green wire that comes off of the ignition switch and feeds power to the ICM, the coil, the EEC relay, and pin 5 of the PCM. Assuming "the plug that goes to the distributor" refers to the ICM connector, I would focus on why this power wire doesn't have power. As I understand these computer controlled ignition systems, the ICM must have power and be functional for the spark plugs to fire. It would appear that red/grn wire has power at the coil, does it have power at the other components it feeds?

Don't forget to check the grounds out, too.
