There is a person that may well buy 'em at $800, but that's the funny nature of "the market." Personally, I'd have to ask myself "why would I want them?" and given that the Y isn't a revver anyway, the differences would be small. If you're the sort that has to have "the best," then you've gotta go for rams. If you'll settle for 5 or 10 horsepower less, than you don't really need them. In fact, there are few material things that we really "need," aren't there? I'm saving my $$ for the kid's college tuition and my retirement, but I'm probably funny that way.

Were ram horn manifolds an option for Y block trucks or was there a specific model that these were a standard?

'61-'64 medium & heavy trucks with the 292 only. F-500s & similar models, etc.; no cars or light duty trucks, & no other engines.

Others here may be able to be more specific.

The auction on EBAY just closed at about $760......with the shipping they'll be well over $800!!

These people are nuts.

I'm just going to put a set of headers on my 292.

Regards,

Rick

Can you believe it! Sounds like Barrett Jackson and car prices, trickling down to parts (it shouldnt become a trend though).
