bronco motor trouble

i think ill keep the full time 4wd b/c i only use the truck for baggin purposes and some daily driving. i have 2 ford trucks for parts one a 351m and the other a 400 also i know a guy who has lots of 73-79 ford trucks and bronco's. i want to be able to have a reliable mud machine.

Put the 400 in that bad boy, and if you put a 4v carb, intake, new cam and lifters, double roller timing chain, and headers, you'd be good to go, but if you want to get into it alittle more, bore out the block to about .30 over or what ever would be needed and then put in some flat top pistons to bring up the compression ratio, and you'd be good to go.
