Tire Recommendation
All - I have an '04 F-350, 6.0, 4" lift and am currently running ProComp 35x12.5x17 All Terrain tires on M/T rims. I am to the point where I need to start looking at new tires - this set is getting thin (i think i'll get a full 50k out of them!). While I have been pretty satisified with these tires, I wanted to get a few suggestions or updates as to possible replacements. My use is 80% highway and 20% trails with lots of snow and ice around here. Any thoughts/suggestions/opinions?

I'm running the new mickey thompson atz tires and it's an awesome tire. It's a 10 ply tire and it's quiet. it will last for a long time and I heard it works great in the snow. I would'nt know because I live in hawaii. Check it out I think you'll like it.

Pics in my gallery. I run Nitto Terra Grappler A/T's. I've got 10,000 miles now & still look new. Took a trip to canada this X-mas, they did great in the snow. Very quiet on the highway. Work fine for the little off-road I do. This summer we will go to the coast & can't waint to get them in the sand! They look cool to for A/T's. I think they are the perfect all-round tire. Just MY opion though!

mbear2k - Where are you located in NY and what kind of trails are you doing? I wheel a Range Rover as all the trails that I go on my SD would not fit and you need a true mud tire. If you are happy with an AT tire as dscofever mentioned the BFG is a great one. They wear like iron, balance up well, and provide excellent traction on everything except for true mud. I hear the Toyo Open Country AT's are similar to the BFG, but have not run those yet. The Nitto as texcan mentioned would be similar too as Toyo owns Nitto. Those are the tires that I am looking at for my next winter set after I wear out the BFG MT's on there now.
