Swapping 460 tranny to 7.3 Diesel
I have a E4OD transmission in my 92 F350 which has a 7.3 Diesel. The transmission is the original with no upgrades and has developed problems ( blowing seals). Does any one know if an E4OD transmission from a 95 E350 van with a gas 460 will swap out. Would I have to swap cases ? Would the shift points be the same ? The truck pulls storm debris (5 to 7 tons per 5 to 10 mile trip.) The new tranny has been upgraded by Ford.
