2003 F250

I have a 2003 F250 Superduty 4wd, 75,000 miles - awesome truck!!! I regurarly tow about 10,000 pounds and haul a good 1500lbs every 2 weeks on 1054 mile trips. Towing I average (at 70mph) 16 mpg, empty I get around 22mpg. Awesome truck - my build date - 02/03!

My truck is a Feb 03 build and currently has 74,000 miles. She had all 8 injectors at 6,000 miles, the blue cold air elbow into the turbo at 10,000, and the right side ball joints at 20,000. After 40,000 it has been trouble free. I have a Diablo Predator at 65hp with the speed limiter off most of the time and average 14-18 all around and 18-20 highway. Most of the 03 / 04 trucks have had there problems resolved in the first 30,000 miles. From what I have seen, the 6.0L needs to be worked occasionally. It is the trucks that are driven like a car that have the most problems.

Of course - the day I posted my response - I developed an anti-freeze leak. No big deal - Ford is taking care of it. I definetly dont drive the truck light - she's worked.

I had one of those heartbeats once - it had a heartattack. Not complaining and definetly not bashing it - I was way too hard on that truck - but now - 15 years later - I am very happy with my PSD! Love this truck - I miss it and its only been at the dealer for 24 hours! Hopefully will have it back this afternoon.

I have a SD 250 with the 7.3 PSD and I think it is a work horse. I don"t get the mileage that someone else posted already, but it is like 17-19 highway and 12-13 hauling my 5th wheel camper at 7500 pounds. My truck is a 2003.No problems and am not expecting to have any with 48000 miles.
