I just tried putting my 06 stx in 4 low with the regular transmission in neutral and grinded the 4 wheel drive for a few seconds. I didnt realize I had to put the main transmission into park to engage the 4 low gear, unlike the 4 high gear. I then put the transmission into park and 4 lo worked beautifuly. Could I have possibly damaged anything by making the 4 lo gear grind like that, and if so would my warranty take care of any damages? Thanks for any feedback.
