What year did a ford car or truck 8 track player with am radio come out . Both ***** are on the left side . Does anybody know ?

I have never seen any ford truck like that in my whole life, are you sure it was an option or something someone just cobbled in there ?

I have an old ad for the "New 1980 F-Series" that listed an 8-track player as optional, so I know they had them sometime.

I believe a factory cb could have also been had in the late seventies, along with a digital tuned **** radio radio in 79

8 tracks were around in the mid 60s are you sure they were still around in 80?

Just i have seen that radio tho with both ***** on the left side, in a grananda maybe or a lincoln town car 77 maybe i dunno but it is out there but not in a ford truck i dont think

I know they still came from the factory in '83. A friend's truck has one in it and he bought it new.

Thanks guys i didn't know what it came out of i found it in a junk yard on one of there shelf's . I thought it was kind of odd that the ***** were on the left side . It has the ford stamped on it . This junk yard has got about a hundred radios that they have ignored for years . There is even radios dating back to the 40's & 50's I'm still digging to see what other parts he has . Again Thanks
