Well, my first vehicle was an 87 fullsized Bronco. Loved it...and sometimes hated it. Did alot of audio work to it, 8-12"s in the back, 3 amps, 250amp ambulance alternator, 2 component systems, blah blah blah...did some engine work to it and got it down to 7mpg so I got rid of it in favor of a Nissan 200sx. 3 months later, rolled it, 2 years later, put it in a ditch. Totaled all together about 10 grand worth of work and insurance covered it all so SCORE one up for me. Then just recently I got a job with the biggest truck accessory company on the east coast and they tell me to get a truck so they can throw their stuff on it and do some advertising. Who am I to question that? So I went last saturday and traded in my 200 towards the F-350. I love the thing, I love the room it has and the way I tower over everyone again. I just miss the good gas mileage of an import but I love the power of a nice V-8.
One thing Im not sure of is the actual trim of the vehicle. I know its an XLT model but the salesman said it had some kind of sports package or something. Its got no chrome trim and the seats are grey and black which do lean towards the whole sports package thing and around the door trim its carbon fiber or some type of faux CF. Not too sure about it, hopefully one of you can tell me.
But thats me in a few words, Im back in the ford game and Im happy with the 350. Id like to see if I could find some things to improve the mpg though...but then again, wouldnt everyone?
