Which cable goes where?

I did a heater core in my '87 Bronco yesterday and both heat/AC cables popped loose when the core came out.
Chilton and Haynes are showing me nothing as far as a diagram on the blower or door.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

You might look for wear marks on the cables and see where they line up. Another way is to hook them up and make sure the lever has enough travel and the doors open and close fully.

I might have a book on 1987 Mercury, I will look in that and see if it will tell me anything.
