I been searching around on the F150online forum and I guess you can replace the 2005 pillars with glossy ones off 2004s. I think the price goes for $140 for all four pillars. Has anyone done this? How does it come off; 3m tape? I need to because I have a nice ding on the pillar and its driving me nuts
I got them on Ebay for $50 shipped. They are carbon fiber look alikes that adhere ontop of the oem cover using 3m tape. This is a cheaper and easier way to fix my ding! And gives it a nice touch.
Hey,
I was thinking about doing the same thing but when I looked on Ebay, all I could find was the chrome pillars. You found the glossy black ones? Do you have any pictures of how it came out with the new ones?
