e7 vs 69 351W

so which is a better place to start(aside from the fact that bolt holes are different) I know that the 351's have bigger intake ports and valves, along with a smaller combustion chamber. but do the e7's have some kind of desinging advantage that makes them better? if nothing else i will acid dip the e7's and sell them on ebay for the cash to pay for the 351 heads.

I kinda like the E7's because they usually don't take as much $$ to rebuild as old heads(i.e.already have hardened valvle seats)but if you're going for a full blown rebuild,I'd work the C9 351 heads.BTW,my home ported,.040 decked E7's ran as well or better than out of the box GT-40's(on my 302 in a Maverick).
