4 Wheel Drive Linkage
I Have A 2004 F4supper Crew. Never Use The 4wheel Drive Except When Pulling The 18ft Bass Boat Up The Ramp. Yesterday Pulling The Boat Up A Concret Ramp Sounding The Underside Was Coming Out. Could Hardly Turn. Place It Back Into Two Wheel Drive And It Straighten Up. Truck Has About 37000 Miles. A Little Mad To Have This Problem With As Little 4wheel Drive Use As It Gets.

integrated wheel ends?
Does this have the integrated wheel ends? On the 2004 F150 it is a common problem, that the wheels ends do not lock all the way in, and grinds in the front wheels when they cannot get locked in, and once the tips of these get ground a little it happens more and more.
Sometimes this happens when the wheels are spinning too fast for the wheel ends to try to start from a dead stop (like on a ramp) or shifting on the fly 50mph.
