I have a '76 F250 4x4 which from the info I have read is known as "Hi-Boy". Anyway I am in the process of converting the "360" eng., NP435 4spd.trans. with a NP205 divorced Xcase and Pwr.steering to a "460"eng., a ZF 5spd. trans (keeping the NP205)and a '79 Pwr. steering unit.
The point at which I am is the clutch. I have been told to use a hydralic clutch with a diaphram clutch. I have hydralic unit form a '95/'96 F250, pedals and all. The slave cylinder bolts right up to the bellhousing.
I check with McClod and was told it was "in the works". I would like to make the conversion with out cutting on the cab to much.
Any ideas or does someone have any experance. with such a set-up?
