What kind of Storage Shelter are you talking about?
Since you mentioned "purchasing" one, I'm assuming you're talking about a garage type to put on your property. If that's the case, there's been much talk about garages throughout this forum. If you have the room, go wider and/or longer than just a 12x20. We put up a 16x40 steel building a couple years ago and are very pleased with it.
If you're referring to off-site storage, best I can tell you is make sure they have someone living at the facility and some sort of security system.
I think he is asking about the temporary tarp and pole type structures. My Scout Troop has a 10x20 that we use as a dining fly but it has no sides. We purchased it at Sam's Club years ago.

I have two cover-it carports. A company in west haven, ct manufactures them(sells them, china makes them?). They work out well for temporary storage. Whats neat is I can flip it over and transport on a trailer to relocate somewhere on the property to provide temporary shelter from the elements when working on a tractor, rockwall, welding or whatever requires fixin out in the elements.

I've had two assembled for a few years now no issues with UV or strucutal (I do knock the snow off from inside with a broom when its over a six inch ground accumulation).
