Howdy Partner
Just wanted to introduce myself, the name is Ricky. I'm from south central Pennsylvania. I have just bought my second truck, first full size. It is a 1983 F250, 4.9l 300ci automatic. It was a state truck. I believe it has 161,000 miles on it, my goal is to see 300,000+ on it. I will get pictures as soon as I can.
Not really sure what I have in mind for it beings it is not a 4x4. potental is there. Dad told me take care of the truck and it will take care of you. So it has now became my best friend.
I want to thank everyone for making a web site like this one, I hope to learn all the ins and outs of my new friend. I have no name for it yet. Well I'll be seeing you all on the inside. Time for me to start looking around.

first of welcome.
i have a 82 f100 with the 300 inline 6. with 220,000 miles on it shes pretty beat up but it still runs great. i think 300,000 miles is not out of question for these engines. its only a matter of the rest of truck lasting that long.
