Torque specs tranny filter
[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 30-May-01 AT 12:10 PM (EST)[/font][p]Could someone tell me what the torque specs are for the tranny filter to valve body bolts on my C6? I checked both my Haynes and Chilton manuals and they didn't have them and I don't have Vol. 1 Ford manual.
Or can I just snug 'em up real good?

Torque specs tranny filter
The small bolts are 30-45 in/lbs The two larger ones are 90-125 in/lbs (B&M). Ford calls out 4-6 ft/lbs & 8-10 ft/lbs. Mathematically it works out to about the same either way.
